This is a handsome and solidly well made instrument. Its all metal construction will ensure decades of service life. All its controls operate smoothly and it is great student starter microscope. The instrument has a robust all metal construction and is suitable for community useage - ie not easily damaged by careless (young) users.

The P-6A is supplied with an additional LED white light illuminator (powered by three AAA batteries - not included) and has a standard plano and convex tilting mirror beneath the slide stage to reflect daylight or additional artificial light to illuminate the glass slide specimens.

This microscope is a recommended for educational use up to GCSE standard and is perfectly suited for parasite identification by bird and other animal breeders and the higher magnifications make it suitable for 'blood work' - ideal for home or community useage.
