So what's so great about the GSO 2x (& 1.5x)Barlow lens?

The sheer quality of this Barlow gets 10 out of 10 points with us. The lenses are edge blackened for better contrast and the black aluminium parts are elecrophoretic coated for long service life and ultra good looks.

This great desgin Barlow effectively triples the number of your eyepieces in your collection by offering the user two independent magnification increases! In it's normal Barlow mode the eyepiece is simply inserted into the eyepiece holder end of the Barlow and 2x magnifying is achieved. But by unscrewing the lens cell and screwing it directly to the 1.25" filter thread on all eyepieces (or camera nosepieces) a reduced magnification of just 1.5x is achieved.
