They normally sell for £189.99 we are now the sole UK supplier of this item and are offering a limited number of this stunning bino for just £163.49 inc UK p&p! The primary use of the CarpVu (as you might have guessed from its name) is the observation of fish. The special rotating polarising filters mounted at the front of the binocular, allow the user to adjust the reduction of reflections on water (and glass) to a truly amazing degree! So what's so great about the CarpVu? When you get your first look at a stretch of water through the CarpVu the experience can be quite magical. At Scopes'n'Skies we're used to looking through great binoculars and seeing things that can't be seen with the unaided eye, but to be able to see perfectly into water that is totally obscured by sky reflections is simply amazing. With the CarpVu you can see into water that showed only sky reflections to the unaided eye and ordinary binoculars. And of course, you immediately see fish and wildlife with an degree of clarity that is simply spectacular! According to the manufacturer, the Adler CarpVu 8x42 is unique and no other binocular has the amazing ability to make reflections simply disappear like the CarpVu. Polarising binoculars are not in themselves a new idea - and are available elsewhere but not with the patent pending Adler system that allows reflections to be precisely 'tuned' away by the rotating filter system. As well as being probably the worlds best fish watching binocular, the CarpVu is the classic bird and wildlife watching size and provides high definition images that will please the most discerning and experienced observer. The special filters screw-fit the the CarpVu and can easily be removed allowing the binocular to be employed for general purpose viewing. The perfected and precise mechanics, robust full rubber armouring and 'o' ring sealed waterproof, nitrogen purged body design, round out these superb binoculars as an ideal choice of binocular for the wildlife, and fish fancier. It is only natural that BaK-4 glass has been manufactured into these binoculars and that the optical surfaces have been fully multi-coated (FMC) to increase luminosity and contrast. High light grasp optics With their 42mm objective lenses delivering brilliant images in all lighting conditions (twilight, shaded woodland etc) the Adler CarpVu 8x42 is the ideal glass for the field trips of the serious all round wildlife spotter. Long eye-relief eyepieces with soft rubber screw-down eye-shields allow a full field of view for spectacle wearers (see middle picture showing one eyepiece in the down position). Supplied complete with soft padded carrying case, wide neck strap and eyepiece rain guard - the objective ends have soft vinyl rain and dust caps. Other uses for the CarpVu Well the primary use for this specialist binocular is fish observation - but its peculier abilities also make the CarpVu useful for other activities. Security survellance for example. The polarising filter system is as effective at eliminating reflections on glass as it is on water and allows the user to easily look into windows with bright daylight reflections on their surfaces and are ideally suited for observing activity inside vehicles.
