6 x 30mm image corrected finder with quick-release dovetail bracket for use with Sky Watcher, Orion, Helios and other telescopes.

The barrel is nicely finished in blue (The shade of blue varies but they all look the same in the dark ;-)).

This superb finder uses a colour-corrected achromatic doublet offering pin-sharp target finding with the added benefit that it is optically corrected – that is, everything in the eyepiece is the right way around, not mirror-flipped or upside down like non-corrected finders. This makes finding targets very easy and intuitive as what you see in the eyepiece is the same orientation as you see with the naked eye.

The eyepiece has a reticule cross-hair for accurate targeting, and fully focusable objective - as you would expect on a top-quality finder scope!

The bracket has a clever two-screw spring-loaded adjustment system that allows precise and quick calibration with the main instrument - robust enough to remain in perfect collimation after the telescope is stored ready for the next observing session. This is a really well-made piece of kit; all the main parts are metal and all lenses are of anti-reflection coated glass. To get a finder of this quality and performance elsewhere you will typically have to pay around £45. !
