This new Astro Engineering Light-Shroud is made from semi-rigid Priplak and has a flat-black anti-dew and anti-reflection velour lining that has a thin sponge insulating layer. The British made product is fully stitched for performance and long service life.

Though flexible to handle when attached to the telescope (with simple Velcro fastening) the AE Light-Shroud becomes a rigid part of the telescope and does not (unlike competing products) flap about in the wind and intrude into the light path by "billowing" into the area within the truss poles.

This clever product has a fabric lining with a special sponge underlayer that not only insulates the telescope and combats dewing but also helps the shroud to "grab" the truss poles and stay rigidly in position.

This is easily the best anti-dew and light scatter product available for the Meade Light-Bridge - it keeps even the heaviest dew off the secondary and main mirrors and improves contrast by blocking extraneous light.
