These binos are a great for general use being of moderate size, light-weight and easy to handle. The binocular features a wider field of view than the standard 8x40 design. The 8x40 size is a classic intermediate size with many of the low-light performance benefits of the larger binocular sizes without the bulk and is good for general usage.

The Vanguard 8x40WA is a serious binocular and all users will appreciate the easy to handle aspects of the bino's moderate magnification and light-weight. All lenses and prisms are BK-7 glass with all glass surfaces are fully anti-reflection coated. The eyepieces feature fold-down rubber eye-guards - making this binocular ideal for spectacle wearers. The rugged rubber armoured body has a comfortable high quality feel and features a tripod fitting bush (additional bracket required).
