The Pentacon 10x to 40x x 21 compact zoom is one of the most powerful but usable compact zoom binoculars available. Established between the world wars, Pentacon is a long established brand with it's origins in East Germany. The Pentacon 10x to 40x zoom has quality mechanics you can feel, packed in a diecast body of modern, well finished, external design.

These super compact porro prism binoculars offer a wide zoom range from a moderate 10 to an ultra powerful 40 times magnification!

Extra light-weight and excellent optical performance make this powerful optical instrument great for hiking and trekking. The zoom function (see picture) is a simple finger or thumb slider that moves smoothly from 9x to 40x (with all magnifications in between of course). The top quality optics are Bak 4 glass throughout with full multi-coating on all prisms.

High performance anti-reflection coatings

The primary lenses have a special anti-UV & IR (ultravilet & infrared) anti-reflection coating that enhances the image contrast and allows better penetration through haze. The internal and external coatings guarantee significantly higher light transmission. The body is part rubber armoured and is profiled for hand-holding comfort and security. Supplied complete with pouch carrying case and strap.
