The Compass Marine 7x50 binocular normally sells for £149.99 - our price is just £59.99 inc UK p&p!

First and foremost the Compass 7x50 Marine binocular is a great specification all round night glass offering superb wide-angle viewing in all lighting conditions. The Bak 4 optics and high quality multi-coated anti-reflection coatings on all optical components provide high contrast true colour images. The 7x50 is fully waterproof to a standard of 3 minutes at 2m and is nitrogen gas purged to prevent fogging in rapid temperature changes.

These binos are a great general use size and are regarded as one of the standard sizes for astronomy - with an almost ideal relationship between magnification and aperture, the 7x50 size will deliver stunning astro-target image brightness than binos with a higher magnification to aperture relationship. A further fantastic feature of the 7x50 IC is the over-sized porro prisms delivering extra field of view compared to normal 7x50s - a typical 7x50 would offer around 109m @ 1000m but the Compass 7x50 provides a wide 116m @ 1000m!

The 7x50 size is often referred to as a "night glass" as it has great light gathering power and will show the user a much brighter twilight image than most other sizes (the 7x50 size are highly favoured for nautical use for this reason).

However, the Compass Marine also has specialist features to make the glasses indispensable to the mariner.

Compass: Integrated compass with fully illuminated bearing display with the addition of an integrated range scale.

The Compass 7x50 is supplied with a special floatation neck strap to ensure that if the binoculars should fall into water they will float to allow recovery.

The long eye relief eyepieces are equipped with large fold down soft rubber eye cups to provide views of maximum FOV to all users including spectacle wearers. A great feature of the all-metal (aluminium) eyepieces is the instant-fold eyecups - a simple push with the palm of your hand flatens the eyecup instantly - a real boon if you share the binocular with other observers. The binocular is equipped with tethered splash/rain guards to cover objective lenses and a seperate rain-guard for the eyepieces.

Supplied with padded carry storage case and padded flotation neck strap.
