SnS comment: What can we say about the vektor S that won't sound like sales hyperbole? OK let's kick off with, it's simply stunning.

The optical performance is outstanding, sharp, bright - snapping into focus with the lightest touch of the large mid-body focus control at all magnifications. The eyepiece has generous eye relief making it comfortable for all users, including spectacle wearers. The eyepiece zoom action is smooth and easy. But the jewel in the crown is the variable eyepiece position. The difference this makes is just amazing; being able to place the eyepiece at the perfect viewing angle regardless of target position makes an enormous difference to observer comfort, and this greatly amplifies the user's observational enjoyment and, surprisingly, the apparent quality and detail of the image. How so?

Simply put, the more comfortable and relaxed you are the longer you stay with your eye at the eyepiece, and naturally, the longer you stay at the eyepiece the more you will see.

OK, so by way of balance let's find something we don't like about the vektor S. It's not an easy task and we're struggeling to find anything but how about the silly decision to use a lower case letter on the name "vektor"?

We can't recommend this superb scope too highly - it's simply the best 70mm spotter we have ever looked through - and that really is saying something.
