This is a smart torch with a precise push-button on/off switch. It has a large red LED (light-emitting diode) that emits a pure red light - ideal for saving your dark-adapted vision when making astronomical observations. Torch body has moulded flat to prevent rolling on flat surfaces and built-in loop for wrist or neck lanyard.

Runs on 2x AA batteries (included). The special 10mm LED lamp is extremely low on power consumption so batteries will last for ages.
