This 1.25" prism is for users of the Meade ETX 60, 70 or 80 who prefer the convenience of 45-degree viewing but want to view a fully corrected image, ie the right way up and not mirror-reversed left to right.

Designed for comfortable daytime corrected viewing with Meade ETX60/70/80 telescopes, this 45 degree angled erecting prism screws directly to the rear thread on the ETX60/70/80 and accepts standard 1.25" eyepieces. An excellent accessory for adding daytime viewing to your astronomical telescope.

The #933 prism has a built-in Barlow lens that is needed to transfer the image through the longer light path of the image erecting prism. This acts to boost the power of any 1.25" eyepiece by 2.4x, so lower power eyepieces are generally recommended. A chrome thumbscrew holds eyepieces firmly in place and the optics are fully coated for high transmission
