This great software and cable package allows you to connect the Meade ETT 70/80 to your computer allowing full remote control access of the telescope by PC command (and vice versa).

The cable connects to the telescope via the computer's serial port, and allows complete remote control of the telescope from within the AstroFinder software.

Almost as useful is the control of the PC by the telescope! As the telescope is moved via the Autostar handset, the cursor showing the telescope's pointing position is constantly updated on the PC monitor allowing target identification regardless of whether the handset has the target listed on it's data base or not. The software allows the PC to show an accurate simulation of the night sky and them point the telescope automatically at any target of interest (the AstroFinder software database contains over 15,000 objects!).

This software is just plain fun - but it's educational too!

To run AstroFinder you need:

PC with Pentium or higher proessor, SVGA 256 colour monitor or better. CD-ROM drive and MS Windows 95, Windows 98 Second Edition, or Windows NT 4.0 or later. Requires 16MB of RAM and 15 to 60MB of hard disk space.
