The Praktica DVC 5.4 records Hi-Def digital video onto SD card, the recording media of choice for it's simplicity, ease of use and low-cost. A 4GB SD card (not included) gives over 2 hours of Hi-Def recording with stereo sound recording. Plus you can take 5 MegaPixel still digital pictures!

A built-in flash gives extra light when needed. Additionally there's a built-in Xenon light for video use. With the accessibility and availability of Hi-Def devices, the DVC 5.4 gives you the ability to record your videos in much higher quality. Video recording can be made in Pal or NTSC as well as HD. Focusing is fully automatic and on macro mode allows focusing from 45cm to only 5cm! The massive 3.0" LCD screen is used for recording and playback. It's easy to scroll through the menu when using such a large screen. The screen itself can be angled and tilted for convenience.

SD card compatibility means that it can be played back directly on many of the Plasma or LCD screens which have direct card slots making playback child's play. It's also supplied with Video and HD cables so that it can be connected to a TV or a DVD player. The convenience of the SD cards mean that video can be downloaded to a computer for video editing. Once edited a new video can be made to a CD or DVD. Alternatively connect the camera using the USB 2.0 to a computer.
