The AE Deluxe Ball & Socket head is ideal for use with tripods and clamps - providing a perfect quickly adjustable support for large to medium sized spotting scopes, cameras and binoculars - in fact any equipment with with a 1/4" tripod fitting boss.

The all metal (aluminium) CNC manufacture ball & socket head features a large 30mm diameter ball for smooth movements and secure locking that requires just the merest twist of the large lock screw to lock the ball firmly in position. Finished in hard wearing black anodic dye.

Large 40mm circular platform is ideal for telescopes, binocular brackets and the largest cameras.

The single lock knob on the side of the head requires only a moderate twist to lock all movement in the ball and hold the scope, camera or binocular rigidly on target.

The base has a standard 1/4" female threaded mounting point.
