This highly portable Bresser field tripod features a smooth ball and socket head featuring an metal quick release plate (image 1 & 2)- flick a lever and the telescope or camera can be removed instantly. The quick release system has a safety catch (1)to keep your equipment securely in place even when carrying the tripod with the spotting scope attached.

The tripod has the rigidity you would expect from its all metal construction. The 1395 is made entirely from cast and machined aluminium alloy with stainless steel legs and other parts and is our lightest all metal tripod weighing in at only 2.1kg! The tripod features a centre stay or leg-brace system that locks into position.(see btm picture).

The centre column height is controlled by a conveniently placed folding crank handle (image 3). The tripod will easily hold spotting scopes, binoculars (with additional bracket) and cameras up to 3 kilos in weight.

A great feature of this precision made tripod is the robust and user adjustable leg locks (image 4). A few years in to the life of a tripod there is nothing more annoying than a leg lock that starts to slip through normal wear and usage. With most tripods you either live with it as long as you can and then throw it away. The Bresser 1395 has fully user adjustable leg-locks and can be adjusted to the optimum tension regardless of wear.

This is a great tripod for spotting scopes or larger binoculars with a support bracket.
