The Vanguard MP-2 ball & socket mono-pod provides an ultra portable (just 260g), strong and easy to control support for a wide range of spotting scopes, cameras, binoculars and monoculars.

This mono-pod is an excellent alternative to a tripod, and provides a surprisingly effective support for spotting scopes, binoculars and cameras. Obviously this mono-pod will not stand on its own, but this limitation is more than made up for by the mono-pod's sheer portability, ability to respond to target action and the fact that it will provide 90% of the steadying action of a tripod when used with scopes and binoculars.

The ball & socket mono-pod has 3 lockable leg sections and a superb high prescision all aluminium ball and socket head that extends to a height of over 1.43m (56"). A wide wrist strap makes the MP-2 comfortable and easy to carry. The lightweight construction is of aluminium and ABS.

The ball and socket head is very well engineered and nips up rigidly locked with just a quick turn of the large lock lever.

The MP-2 ball and socket mono-pod has a soft neoprene sponge top-grip and a useful wrist strap as well a lug for a carrying strap (strap not included)
