1 ATN X-Sight LTV – Best Day and Night ATN Rifle Scope

Most people would expect that taking advantage of advanced digital technology would be unaffordable. However, ATN has made it possible for anyone to gain impressive night and day digital performance with the X-Sight LTV.

Mounting the scope is easy and can be installed using standard 30-millimeter rings, making it suitable for almost any rifle. There are two variable zoom models to choose from, including 3-9x and 5-15x. I’ve chosen the smaller model due to its incredible value.

Make some memories…

Using an ATN QHD+ M584 sensor, images viewed on the 1280 x 720p HD micro display appear in sharp detail. Best of all, both stills and videos can be saved and viewed later by saving them onto an inserted Micro SD card.

Reviewing the pictures and videos afterward is a delight as they are saved in 720p HD quality. There is almost no grain or ghosting either, thanks to being recorded at 30 frames per second for smooth flowing motion. The more expensive ATN sights offer 1080P and 60 frames per second, but you are paying a lot more money for the improved quality.

Tech and spec…

Enjoy more than just photography with a digital scope as you can aim confidently and accurately in almost any weather or lighting condition. There are also multiple reticle patterns and colors to choose from, so you can always adapt to the current conditions.

Built using hardened aluminum alloy and impact-resistant electronics, the X-Sight LTV is shockproof for use with high caliber rifles. Using O-rings and nitrogen purging means shooters also benefit from waterproof and fog-proof performance.

  • Record high-quality stills and video to a Micro SD card.
  • Multiple selectable reticle patterns and colors.

Cons

  • Lacks connectivity to an App.
  • No ballistics calculator.

2 ATN X-Sight 4K Pro – Best Digital ATN Rifle Scope

If you liked the sound of the previous best riflescope from ATN, but are looking for some higher specs, then the ATN X-Sight 4K Pro might be for you. Packed with all the latest features and still highly affordable, this is a great option as an introduction to digital rifle scopes.

This version of the X-Sight 4K Pro has a variable zoom range of between 3x and 14x magnification power. There is another version available with 5x to 20x magnification, too, if you’d prefer some extra reach.

More detailed images…

With a 4K sensor, the X-Sight 4K Pro can record stills and video up to Full HD 1920 x 1080p resolution at up to an incredible 120 frames per second. In addition to being able to record to a Micro SD card, the X-Sight 4K Pro can also wirelessly livestream.

With built-in wireless Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, you can easily connect your scope to any smart device via the App available on both Android and iOS. Besides streaming in 720p, you can also take advantage of some other fantastic digital features.

The digital advantage…

A ballistics calculator gives shooters all the information they need to make accurate shots. This includes details such as range, wind, angle to target, humidity, and much more. Plus, you can add up to five profiles for different weapons and ammunition.

If any of your friends also own a compatible ATN product, you can tag targets and have them appear on a radar overlay on the display. Relative direction and range to both tagged targets and your friends will increase both nighttime safety and hunting success.

Pros

  • Full-featured affordable digital rifle scope.
  • Wireless Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
  • Ballistics calculator and ATN Radar feature.

Cons

  • Night vision mode is not as effective as thermal imaging.
  • Ballistics laser and IR illuminator required for full feature benefits.

3 ATN Thor LT – Best Affordable Thermal ATN Rifle Scope

The latest in day and night rifle scope performance uses thermal imaging technology that was previously only available to the military. Not only has this now become available for the average shooter, but ATN has also created an affordable model.

ATN’s Thor LT is available in standard black three different camouflage designs for the ultimate hunting scope. There are four models available with two sensor sizes and each with two variable zoom ranges. I’ve chosen the 4-8x smaller sensor model because of its great value.

Gain hunting superpowers…

With a 60Hz thermal sensor, even in pitch darkness, you can detect, recognize, and identify targets. Images are displayed in your choice of either black or white hot mode depending on the environment allowing shooters to locate targets that are even behind thick scrub.

Not only can you track and acquire targets easily in any lighting condition, but shots are also made accurately. Use features like the One Shot Zero to be dialed in quickly, along with multiple selectable reticle patterns and colors for any environment or lighting condition.

Built to last…

As with all ATN products, the Thor LT is built to last being made from hardened aluminum alloy. Not only does this make the scope tough and durable, but it’s also lightweight. At only 1.4-pounds (650-grams), it can be mounted on almost any weapon.

Mounting is easy thanks to the 30-millimeter tube design meaning there is a huge amount of attachment rings available. Best of all, shooters can enjoy all these features for up to ten hours, thanks to the built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

Pros

  • Available in black or three different camouflage patterns.
  • 60Hz thermal sensor allows shooters to detect, recognize, and identify targets.
  • Simple One Shot Zero feature for sighting in your weapon.

Cons

  • No still or video recording available.
  • Missing any connectivity options.

4 ATN Thor HD – Best Hog Hunting ATN Rifle Scope

Next up in my Best ATN Rifle Scope review, we have the thermal scope that started it all for ATN. Even though it is now up to the 4th Generation, this means that hog hunters can now afford an incredible thermal scope. With all the amazing features, it will take your hunting to the next level.

With a variable zoom range of between 4.5x and 18x along with a large 50-millimeter objective lens, mid to long-range targeting is possible. This is all powered by four AA lithium batteries for up to eight hours of continuous use.

Ahead of its time…

Despite being the first generation thermal scope for ATN, the Thor HD still has some advanced features. Equipped with an E-barometer, gyroscope, E-compass, plus wireless Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, shooting is made more accurate and enjoyable.

With the smart range finder, after only two clicks and a shift of the scope, your target will be identified. The reticle will then automatically adjust to the point of impact without you needing to make any complicated calculations.

Never miss an opportunity…

Using the RAV (Recoil Activated Video) feature means you’ll always keep the memories of every hunt. By setting RAV, you don’t need to remember to hit the record button. The system buffers all images recording the moment before, during, and after any shots are taken.

We can’t forget that this scope is also capable of clear thermal imaging, which is perfect for detecting hogs while hunting. There is no need for IR lights as the scope can detect the target’s heat signatures, bringing them to life on the scope’s digital screen.

Pros

  • The thermal scope that started it all for ATN.
  • Smart range finder automatically adjusts the reticle.
  • RAV feature means you’ll never miss an important moment.

Cons

  • Newer fourth-generation version is now available.
  • Not as easy to mount as the newer versions.

5 ATN Thor 4 – Best Thermal ATN Rifle Scope

This is currently the top-spec flagship ATN thermal scope. Featuring a huge thermal sensor and all the latest technological features, you can give yourself a massive advantage with this amazing scope.

Shoot mid to long-range targets with a huge variable zoom range of between 4x and 40x magnification power. Even thermal images will be sharp and clear because of the 640 x 480 60 Hz (<25 mK) thermal sensor and dual-core processor.

All the features you’d expect…

Every great feature from all the other ATN products can be found on the Thor 4. This includes RAV, still and video recording and streaming, wireless Bluetooth plus Wi-Fi connectivity, One Shot Zero, and ATN Radar.

That’s not all either. There’s also the ballistics calculator, smart Mil-Dot reticle, and an almost indestructible construction. Plus, this is all built on a 30-millimeter tube that makes mounting simple for almost any weapon type.

Stay in charge…

Despite being filled with all the latest in technology, you can continue to enjoy all these features for up to 16-hours of continuous use. This is thanks to the built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery that can be charged using the included USB Type-C cable.

In addition to the white hot and black hot thermal imaging modes, the Thor 4 also offers a color mode. This really makes it fast and easy to identify targets on the clear and detailed 1280 x 720p HD micro display.

Pros

  • ATN’s top-of-the-range thermal imaging scope.
  • Filled with all the latest technology and features.
  • Huge 16-hours of battery life from a single charge.

Cons

  • Not as affordable as other ATN options.
  • Larger and heavier than other ATN models.

There is no doubt that every ATN product offers an amazing combination of technology and weapon optic capabilities. However, I am looking for the best product within a great range of scopes, and that’s made that decision much more difficult.

The product I’ve chosen as the best rifle scope from ATN is the…

ATN X-Sight 4K Pro

As one of the latest products in ATN’s lineup, the X-Sight 4K Pro offers the latest features at an affordable price. And even though it uses older IR rather than thermal technology, this does make it incredible value for money. It is, therefore, highly recommended for anyone who doesn’t want to spend a fortune on the latest ATN thermal scopes.

Happy and safe shooting.
