1 Simmons .22 MAG 3-9×32 Rifle Scope – Best Value for Money Simmons Rifle Scope

The .22 MAG 3-9×32 scope is one of the biggest selling scopes in the marketplace and has an enviable reputation for quality and value for money. This is a reliable rimfire scope that comes equipped with numerous features that are ideally suited to hunters. And the 3x to 9x variable magnification with its practical adjustment features make it a great choice for mid-range shooting.

The 32mm objective lens with multi-coated lenses eliminate blur and gave me consistent quality images. Focusing was really comfortable due to the fine-haired triplex reticle, while the 3.75-inch eye relief was a little tight but enough for most rifles. Plus, there’s a HydroShield outer layer that eliminates moisture and also protects your lens when it’s being cleaned.

Lightweight, durable, and weather-resistant…

The quick target acquisition (QTA) eyepiece allowed me to practically chase a moving target and shoot with accuracy. If you are chasing down a deer, you should have no issue keeping it in your sights, no matter how fast it’s moving.

The one-piece tube design is quite light at around 10oz and works well in all weather conditions. It’s waterproof, fog-proof, and shockproof, making this a very durable scope that’s easy to carry around and won’t affect the balance of your rifle. If this is your first time using a Simmons rifle scope, it’s a great place to start.

2 Simmons 8-Point 3-9x50mm Rifle Scope – Best Low Light Simmons Rifle Scope

This 8-Point 3-9×50 Scope is specially designed to work well in low light conditions. But, it’s still a budget-friendly rifle scope with impressive performance and a robust design. I would say this is more of an entry-level Simmons model with a reputation for quality, and it more than lived up to its reputation when I tested it. If you hunt in the early morning or evening, this is a scope that I highly recommend.

The 50mm objective lens is fully coated to enhance the light gathering capabilities and color differentiation and really did brighten up the image to exceptionally clear levels. It also features a fine-haired triplex reticle that simplifies low-light shooting.

Robust, rugged, and reliable…

This is an 8-point scope that comes with knobs for finger-tip adjustments with audible clicks and can be operated when wearing gloves. And the quick target acquisition (QTA) eyepiece worked great when tracking down and following a moving target, ensuring that I made the perfect shot every time. Well, most of the time, but that wasn’t down to the scope!

The single-piece tube design enjoys a black matte finish and is fully weather-resistant and fog-proof. It weighs only 13oz, making it light and easy to carry while remaining rugged and reliable. It’s easy to see why this is regarded as one of the best Simmons rifle scopes for shooters on a budget, especially those who hunt early or late in the day.

3 Simmons .22 MAG 4×32 Rifle Scope – Most Accurate Simmons Rifle Scope

The .22 MAG 4×32 Scope is the go-to when you need precise target acquisition and is ideally suited to those who need rapid short-range shooting with minimal setup times. The fixed 4x magnification is very practical, and all I had to do was rotate the magnification ring to get the target quickly. This easy-to-use feature simplified my target acquisition unbelievably.

The super-sharp images with enhanced colorization were possible due to the 32mm objective lens and its multi-coated glass. The anti-reflective qualities repel excessive rays when the sunlight hits the lens, eliminating glare and ensuring a clear picture.

Lightweight and rugged tube design…

It comes equipped with a Patented TrueZero Flex Erector System and True windage and elevation dials with audible clicks that allow for quick adjustment, even when wearing gloves. The single-piece tube is lightweight yet solid at 8oz in weight, coming with an acceptable four inches of eye relief.

It was a very comfortable scope to use, especially in the heat of the moment when you need to make quick adjustments. The SecureGrip adjustment knobs gave me a solid grip in wet conditions and even when wearing gloves. Overall, this is a top-notch rifle scope that is really light but has all the adjustment features you need for short-range target acquisition and shooting.

  • Perfect for short-distance target acquisition.
  • 4x magnification.
  • 32mm multi-coated objective lens.

4 Simmons 8-Point 3-9×40 Rifle Scope – Most Durable Simmons Rifle Scope

This 8-Point 3-9×40 Scope is one of the most durable rifle scopes money can buy. And the only thing that’s better than its ruggedness is its practicality. If you’re a target shooter or hunter, you’ll love this scope. It comes highly recommended by myself and other experts and has some of the most favorable customer reviews of any riflescope, and easily lives up to its impressive reputation.

The price is amazingly affordable when you consider the number of features it offers. This budget-friendly scope uses a high-quality Truplex reticle and comes equipped with fully coated optics and multi-coated lenses that keep your view clear, vivid, and bright in all manner of low-light conditions.

Variable power magnification…

It offers 1/4 MOA clicks with its TrueZero windage and elevation adjustment system and uses a QFA eyepiece for fast focus and simplified target acquisition. I also like it because it has a 3x to 9x variable magnification that makes it more flexible and practical than a scope with fixed magnification in most situations, although this is obviously a matter of personal choice.

This single-piece tube comes in a stylish black matte finish and is waterproof, fog-proof, and shockproof. I used it out in the field in wet and windy conditions, and it held up well. This is one of the best Simmons riflescopes that I’ve used, and considering the price, it’s basically a crime if you don’t seriously consider buying this beauty.

5 Simmons Blazer 3-9x32mm Rifle Scope – Best Budget Simmons Rifle Scope

The Blazer 3-9×32 scope might well be the best entry-level Simmons rifle scope in the current range. This variable power magnification scope has an impressive 3x to 9x magnification that works great at short to mid-range distances. It’s ideal for hunters and target shooters looking for a reliable and value-for-money scope, with very few options in the marketplace being able to match this for price vs. features.

The quick target acquisition (QTA) eyepiece ensures quick and easy tracking of a target, and the TrueZero adjustment features worked a treat. Plus, it uses high-quality HydroShield lens coatings, which gave me crystal clear, sharp, and bright images, even in wet and dusty conditions.

Is this the most affordable Simmons rifle scope?

It comes in a cool black matte finish and is very light and easy to transport at only 9.6oz in weight. The Simmons SureGrip rubber surface gave me the most solid and confident grip even in the pouring rain. The single-piece tube is waterproof, fog-proof, and shockproof, making it perfect for long and hard hunting trips in any conditions.

If you’re looking for the best value for money Simmons scope, you can’t get any better. But if you are an experienced target shooter, you might want something a bit more advanced. But for beginners and novices, or those on a budget, this is a highly recommended riflescope.

Pros

  • High-quality optical glass.
  • Fully coated lenses.
  • Lightweight construction.
  • TrueZero adjustment features.
  • Value for money.
  • A superb entry-level scope.

6 Simmons ProTarget Rimfire 2-7x32mm FMC Rifle Scope – Best Simmons Hunting Rifle Scope

This ProTarget Rimfire 2-7×32 scope has loads of features and is perfectly suited to hunters. The 2x to 7x variable power magnification simplifies target acquisition at close to mid-range shooting distances. And, it’s safe to say that I fell in love with this scope at first sight.

The interchangeable ballistic elevation turrets are a great feature and work perfectly for 1/4 MOA .22LR and also .17HMR. They work in conjunction with the fully multi-coated lenses to give you incredibly bright images for the perfect shot. And because of the variable power magnification, hunters have more control and flexibility when it comes to target acquisition.

Tight and snug fit…

It’s one of the best fitting Simmons rifle scopes in my review, largely due to the included weaver style rings. The cool black matte finish also gives the scope a great tactical look; this doesn’t improve your shooting but does improve your fashion style. It’s light, rugged, and durable and is fully weather-resistant and shockproof.

Although I did enjoy using this scope, there are better Simmons models on the list, but maybe not in this price range. It’s very affordable, although the value might not match some of my other Simmons scope options.

Pros

  • Variable 2x to 7x magnification.
  • Lightweight and durable.
  • Interchangeable ballistic elevation turrets.
  • Cool black matte finish.
  • Weather-resistant and shockproof.
  • Affordable.
  • Weaver style rings included.

Cons

  • None.

Best Simmons Rifle Scopes Buyer’s Guide

Now that you are armed to the teeth with everything you need to know about the best quality Simmons rifle scopes on the market, it’s time to make some serious decisions. But before we do, let’s take a look at what you need to take into account to ensure you make a solid and practical purchase.

Fixed or Variable Magnification Power?

The main reason to buy rifle scopes is to get better target acquisition and improve shooting accuracy. This makes magnification the most important factor. Your two choices are fixed power and variable power, both of which have their advantages and disadvantages, depending on their use.

simmons rifle scopes

Fixed Power Magnification

Fixed power magnification is exactly that, a scope with a fixed magnification, usually 2x, 4x, and 6x. They are the most solid options and are less likely to have mechanical problems because they have few moving parts. They have a wide field of view and are ideal for target acquisition; however, there is no ability to vary the magnification; you only have what it is set at.

Variable Power Magnification

Variable power magnification scopes are far more flexible, allowing you to make important adjustments in super-quick time in the field, but they are a little less solid and durable. If you are tracking a moving target, they are better than fixed power options and are ideally suited to long-range hunting because of their zoom features.

Keep It Simple

When it comes to buying rifle scopes, the best advice I can give is to keep it simple. Simmons riflescopes are innovative in many ways and do offer lots of features, but they do generally get straight to the point. It’s why I love Simmons models so much. They do have some cool adjustment features, but they never go over the top or try and confuse their customers.

American Made

Simmons riflescopes are made in America. As more and more firearms and scopes are made in Asia, quality control can become less important. Don’t get me wrong, Japan does develop and construct some fantastic high-grade scopes when compared to some dubious Chinese factories, but nothing can beat products made in the USA.

With Simmons, you always know where every component of your scope came from. They always insist on hand-crafted products made in America, which makes this brand so special.

Simmons Rifle Scope Prices

It’s important to remember that Simmons is essentially a budget brand offering scopes that everyone can afford. But don’t make the mistake of thinking that they are cheap, either in terms of price or quality. Because all the parts are hand-crafted in America, that can bump up the price when compared to imports, but they still pass on the lowest price possible to their customers.

It’s only one of the reasons why so many gun owners in the know choose Simmons.

So, Which is The Very Best of The Best Simmons Rifle Scopes?

If you’re a proud American like me, buying Simmons rifle scopes supports the local firearms industry, which is always a good thing in my book.

However, being patriotic doesn’t always give you the best value for money. But with Simmons, you can honestly get the best of both worlds, and what’s not to love about that? After reviewing some of the best Simmons scopes, my own personal favorite and winner is the…

Simmons 8-Point 3-9×40 Rifle Scope

I preferred this scope because it has 3x to 9x variable power magnification and lots of adjustment features, all for a reasonable price. The high-quality multi-coated lenses gave me immense clarity when it came to the sight images. It’s light, comfortable, comes in a sleek black matte finish, and is ideal for both target shooters and hunters alike. Highly recommended.

Happy and safe shooting.
